Funding for local voluntary and community organisations

8. Thriving Communities Match Fund

The purpose of the Thriving Communities Fund is to support Voluntary, Community and Faith Sector (VCFS) organisations working with the residents of Reigate & Banstead where their work meets the eligibility criteria and conditions of the fund.

The Fund, which launched in April 2025, aims to contribute towards projects that enable strong, inclusive communities and empower local people.

The Council has allocated £104k from the Thriving Communities Fund to support 27 organisations working in the borough. Funding is awarded as organisations reach their match funding target. Projects will run for 12 months from their start date.  All organisations will be asked to demonstrate the impact of their project at the end of the funding period.
