2025 - 2026 Strategic Grants for the Voluntary, Community and Faith Sectors
The purpose of the Strategic Grants fund 2025 - 2026 is to provide a contribution towards core costs for Voluntary, Community and Faith Sector (VCFS) organisations working to support the residents of Reigate & Banstead and whose work supports delivery of the Council's Corporate Plan.
The Strategic Grants fund underpins the emerging theme within the draft 2025 - 2030 Corporate Plan to “Support for those in need” in Reigate & Banstead.
The total amount of funding available and awarded for 2025 - 2026 is £184,495.
- The Strategic Grants Fund opened for applications in September 2024 for submissions by November 2024
- The Council awarded 11 voluntary and community sector partners strategic grants for 2025 - 2026
- Funding has been awarded for one year, from April 2025
Applications for 2026 – 2027 strategic grant funding are expected to open in Autumn 2025.

Provide support to older people in Reigate, Redhill & Merstham. Activities are a day centre, be-friending, men in sheds and a charity shop to aid raising funds, and to reuse wherever possible. |

Provide free, independent, advice. Key areas of advice include: benefits, debt and money advice, consumer issues, work-related problems, housing and relationships. |

I Choose Freedom |
Provide refuge and a path to freedom for survivors of domestic abuse. They have three refuges that house women and children. Main refuge in the Borough. |

Provide a wide range of support and services, including activities and events, supported outings, befriending services, interest groups, signposting and other services that enable older people to remain actively involved in their local community. |

A user-led network in Surrey that connects people with learning disabilities, autism, and acquired brain injury to make real change. The group is made up of people who have lived experience of these conditions and are strong advocates for themselves. |
