Solar Together 2025 is closed

Look out for Solar Together (now called Switch Together) 2026 for solar PV for private properties.

Solar Together is the Surrey wide scheme for solar panel and battery buying. Surrey County Council works with iChoosr to select a vetted supplier that offers a good price for at scale solar installations.
  • you register
  • get a quote
  • decide if you want to go ahead

With such demand for solar photovoltaic (PV) at the moment, one of the key advantages of this scheme is having confidence you will get an installation from a company that has the capacity to deliver.

The scheme is for private domestic property. It has run three times before benefiting hundreds of homes in our borough. If you already have solar PV you can apply for batteries in this new scheme.

Generating your own clean electricity is a great way to cut carbon emissions, save money on bills and contributes to the UK's energy security.

Although the scheme is primarily for private domestic properties, small businesses can also apply.
