15. Relief for newspapers
The Government is providing funding to local councils so that they can provide a discount worth up to £1500 to office space occupied by local newspapers. The discount was introduced in 2017/18 and has now been extended to 2024/25. This is up to a maximum of one discount per local newspaper title and per hereditament subject to state aid limits.
