8. Warm Homes Grant
The Warm Homes Grant to make your home more energy efficient and save on bills is now open for applications in Surrey.

Home improvements you can get
- wall, loft and underfloor insulation
- air source heat pumps
- smart controls
- solar panels.
You might get support if your home:
- is privately owned (either by you or your landlord who might get part funding)
- has an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) of D, E, F or G – if you do not know your home’s EPC, you can find it out when you apply
- household income is £36,000 a year or less. If you earn more than that, you might still be eligible if either:
- you live in a certain postcode area
- someone in your household is getting certain benefits
