The Town Hall will be closed from Wednesday 24 December to Monday 5 January. The phone lines will be open as usual on 29, 30, 31 December and 2 January.
Local Councillors are elected by the community to decide how the council should carry out its various activities.
The Mayor is the first citizen of the borough, elected for a term of office of one year from the end of May.
