Our 5 year plan
Reigate & Banstead 2025: Consultation
Our consultation on our next five year plan, ‘Reigate & Banstead 2025’, is now closed. The consultation was open from 22 July to 16 September 2019. We will provide an update on this page soon. You can still read the draft plan:
We have produced an accessible version of our draft plan and an accessible version of the summary leaflet. These have been designed to be accessible to a blind or partially sighted person using a screen reading program.
If you have any difficulties, please contact the council (01737 276000 or send an email). A member of Communications or Corporate Policy will be happy to assist.
The draft plan
Reigate & Banstead 2025 explains the Council’s proposed priorities for the next five years, and explains how we will deliver services to those living, working and spending time in our borough.
This includes things like how we will deliver leisure and housing services, neighbourhood services (including parks and refuse collection), our plans to tackle climate change and how we will support our towns, villages and local businesses.
The draft plan has been developed looking at resident feedback, what is likely to change in the borough over the next five years and what our partner organisations are saying.
Our consultation invited views from residents, workers, businesses, community organisations and visitors to the borough to find out if we have got it right, whether the plan focuses on the right things or if anything crucial is missing.
Borough quality of life profile
Our quality of life profile provides insight into the residents, communities, business and natural environment within the borough.
Our 2015-2020 Plan
Our 2015-20 plan was developed using evidence from our borough profile, stakeholder feedback and market research. The plan is based around a vision for the borough, with priorities set around three key themes.
