Community arts programme:

The ‘We Are Westvale’ community arts programme will bring local people together through a mix of creative activities, workshops and local initiatives. Designed to spark imagination and creativity and foster the sense of community, the programme will offer opportunities for residents of all ages to get involved, build new skills and celebrate local talent.

The activities and engagement in the community arts programme will help shape the public art commissions through shared ideas, collaboration, and ongoing engagement.

Upcoming activities will be listed below and promoted across our social media channels, as well as throughout the neighbourhood.

The programme is funded through developer contributions allocated specifically for public art under the Westvale Park Section 106 agreement.

Weekly Westvale Creates - every Thursday night

  • Westvale Park Academy
  • Artist Yuki Sulle will lead Westvale residents through various art sessions including watercolour, mosaic, craft and more

Family art day - Saturday 27 June

  • Westvale Park School Playing Field
  • Brockham Arts Club will set up their big tent and deliver drop-in intergenerational art sessions

July 2026
