Call for submissions
Young artists, aged 25 and under, are invited to submit their work for a community art exhbition - 'This Is Me'.
The exhibition is a collaboration between the council and The Lucy Rayner Foundation, which will be hosted by the Belfry Shopping Centre, Redhill between 4 to 18 October 2025 as part of the Arts Takeover.
What we’re looking for
'This Is Me' is a celebration of identity, creativity and what is important to you. We're looking for:
- Portraits - either a self-portrait or of someone you love or admire
- Submissions MUST be on canvas, size A5 to A3
- Any visual art form is welcome — painting, collage or mixed media
How to enter your portrait
Artwork should be delivered by Tuesday 30 September to: The Lucy Rayner Foundation, Suite 2, 2nd Floor, Tower House, 3 Cromwell Road, Redhill RH1 1RT
You must include with your artwork:
- your name and age
- a contact number should we need to contact you
- a one-sentence explanation about your submission, for example its meaning or what has inspired you
The exhibition will run for two weeks (4 to 18 October) and canvasses can be collected directly from The Belfry (Cromwell Road corridor) on Monday 20 October.
Who can enter
Artists aged between 10 and 25. We cannot accept artwork from younger children.
Schools, colleges and community groups can enter group pieces or collate individual work.
