4. Temporary closure, summer 2026
Horley Community Centre building and car park will need to close temporarily whilst the comprehensive refurbishment and modernisation is under construction. We anticipate this will be for approximately 9 to 12 months and would not happen before summer 2026.
We expect to know more about dates in early 2026.
Temporary activity programme
We’ll work with staff, volunteers, and centre visitors to develop a plan of alternative arrangements, which will include Horley-based activities as well as transport to alternative centres.
We’ll also provide current hirers of rooms at the centre with a list of potential alternative venues.
