There are many charities and voluntary organisations working in the borough and many opportunities to help the community.

The Voluntary Action Reigate and Banstead (VARB) can provide advice and put you in touch with the organisation you would like to help.

The Borough Council also offers a variety of volunteering opportunities which may be of interest to you.

You could help at one of the council's community centres, at the Harlequin Theatre and Cinema as part of the front of house team, or you could become a countryside volunteer supporting one of the conservation groups that help to manage and maintain land owned by the Council.

You can also put yourself forward to volunteer during an emergency see our role during an emergency for more information.
