Our team of volunteers make sure the community centres can provide a warm welcome to everyone.
Current opportunities
We're always looking for new volunteers in all our centres. Whether you want to help out with activities for children, share your passion with others, or help out in the snack bar or on reception, it's a great way to meet others and give back to your local community.

Current Volunteer Positions
Volunteer Position: Receptionist (Horley Community Centre)
Description of role: Warm friendly person required to take lunch bookings and provide information to the public about the centre.
Day: Tuesday and Friday
Timings: 9.30am to 1pm Tuesday and 9.30am to 1pm Friday
Volunteer Position: Kitchen Assistant (Horley Community Centre)
Description of role: Friendly, adaptable person to assist in the kitchen helping the onsite chef.
Day: Tuesday and Wednesday
Timings: 10am to 1:30pm
Volunteer Position: Stay and Play Volunteer (Horley Community Centre)
Description of role: Friendly, adaptable person to assist setting up equipment for the session, play activities, assist with clearing up at the end of the session.
Day: Tuesday
Timings: 10am to 12pm
Volunteer Position: Snack Shack Volunteers (Horley Community Centre)
Description of role: Warm friendly person required to serve a variety of snacks and refreshments in our snack bar.
Day: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Timings: 9.30am to 2pm
Volunteer Position: Café Volunteer (Banstead Community Centre)
Description of role: Warm friendly person required to serve a variety of snacks and refreshments in our café.
Day: Thursday and Friday
Timings: 1pm to 3pm Wednesday, 11am to 3pm Thursday and 9:30am to 1:30pm Friday
Volunteer Position: Waitress/waiter and Host/Hostess (Banstead Community Centre)
Description of role: Take orders to tables, clear and clean tables, help café kitchen staff with clearing and dishwasher. Meet and great show around centre
Day: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
Timings: 11am to 2pm
Volunteer Position: Stay and Play Volunteer (Woodhatch Community Centre)
Description of role: Friendly, adaptable person to assist setting up equipment for the session, play activities, assist with clearing up at the end of the session.
Day: Monday
Timings: 10am to 12pm
Volunteer Position: Stay and Play Volunteer (Woodhatch Community Centre)
Description of role: Friendly, adaptable person to assist setting up equipment for the session, play activities, assist with clearing up at the end of the session.
