Our team of volunteers make sure the community centres can provide a warm welcome to everyone. 

Current opportunities

We're always looking for new volunteers in all our centres. Whether you want to help out with activities for children, share your passion with others, or help out in the snack bar or on reception, it's a great way to meet others and give back to your local community.

Current Volunteer Positions

Volunteer Position: Snack Shack Volunteers (Horley Community Centre)

  • Description of role: Warm friendly person required to serve a variety of snacks and refreshments in our snack bar.
  • Monday or Thursday - 9.30am to 12pm
  • Wednesday - 12pm to 3pm

Volunteer Position: Café Volunteer (Banstead Community Centre)

  • Description of role: Warm friendly person required to serve a variety of snacks and refreshments in our café.
  • Wednesday - 1pm to 3pm
  • Thursday - 11am to 3pm
  • Friday - 9:30am to 1:30pm

Volunteer Position: Waitress/waiter and Host/Hostess (Banstead Community Centre)

  • Description of role: Take orders to tables, clear and clean tables, help café kitchen staff with clearing and dishwasher. Meet and great show around centre.
  • Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday - 11am to 2pm

Volunteer Position: Stay and Play Volunteer (Woodhatch Community Centre)

  • Description of role: Friendly, adaptable person to assist setting up equipment for the session, play activities, assist with clearing up at the end of the session.
  • Monday - 10am to 12pm

  • Wednesday - 10am to 12pm
