The government has published its plan for living with coronavirus (COVID-19) (GOV.UK) with all remaing domestic restrictions, removed in England from 24 February 2022. The guidance for working safely (GOV.UK) has been up-dated.

Grants and loans for businesses

Applications for the following grants and loans are still open:

  • The Omicron Hospitality and Leisure Grant - a scheme to support Hospitality, Leisure and Accommodation businesses who have had their trading impacted by the recent surge in Covid case because of the new Omicron variant.
  • Additional Restrictions Grant - The Council has secured further government funding, which it will use to support local businesses based in Reigate & Banstead, which have been severely affected following the increased infections since December 2021 due to the spread of the Omicron variant.
