We reveal the line-up for this year's festival, with events taking place across multiple venues in and around Redhill, 4 to 11 October.

Arts Takeover is back!Arts Takeover 25 will be a week-long celebration of art, comedy, drama, fashion, music, and more. Don't miss out - bookings now open for events and activities!

Highlights on the Community Stage in the Belfry shopping centre include Redhill’s first Recycled Fashion Show on Tuesday 7 October with guest DJs and hosted by Woodzy; and a laughter showcase from the award-winning Comedy Cottage on Friday 10 October. To close the Arts Takeover on Saturday 11 October, Redstart Community, who are championing a Redhill music scene through their regular Mall Sessions, will present a Battle of the Bands. A bar will be open for refreshments during these evening events.

There will be plenty more music to enjoy this year from the brand-new Music Stage in the pedestrian area of the town centre on Saturday 4 October. You can enjoy free performances throughout the day from talented bands and musicians curated by The Hive.

If you’re looking to get creative and have a go at something new, there are art workshops, including the Family Big Draw on Saturday 11 October, dancing workshops, such as line dancing or jive, crafting sessions, drumming circles, singing, horror writing, and much more. Take a look at the programme and sign up today to avoid missing out. Most classes cost between £5 and £15 with prices designed to cover professional fees only and kept as low as possible.

Arts Takeover showcases the spirit of Redhill and celebrates its communities. Not-to-be-missed community events include the Bollywood Extravaganza with the Asian Social Group on Saturday 4 October; the ‘This is Me’ art exhibition on display throughout the festival; and storytelling and music inspired by Black History Month on Saturday 11 October. There's even a Sustainability Market and Artists Quarter in Redhill Market on Saturday 4 October, with poetry, doodling and art activities. 

The Include Choir and Unison Choir will be kicking off the performances this year with a singing flash mob in the Belfry Shopping Centre at 11am on Saturday 4 October. Watch out for other free performances by local groups, such as Starsteppers, Reigate School of Ballet, Franklin Voices Choir, Beatz DJing and Redhill Corp of Drums.

The venues taking part in Arts Takeover 25 are Belfry Shopping Centre, Garibaldi Community Pub, The Light, Lucie Flynn Studio, Redhill Library, Redhill Market, St Matthew’s Church, United Reform Church, Woodhatch Community Centre and Florrie's Park Cafe.
