The Harlequin Theatre & Cinema has a brilliant season lined up to keep you entertained as the nights draw in.

The Harlequin Theatre & Cinema

The theatre in the heart of Redhill is certainly making up for lost time with a packed schedule over the coming months offering something for everyone – drama, live music, dance, comedy and family shows, along with a sprinkling of magic and nostalgia!

There’s great comedy coming up with top names like Andy Hamilton and Milton Jones treating audiences to some much-needed hilarity. Family favourites Horrible Histories are back in September alongside a range of family fun over half term.

And if live music is your thing, you can see incredible tributes to the likes of the Eagles, Beatles, Pink Floyd, Whitney Houston and Simon and Garfunkel, as well as a sea shanty band and some amazing opera.

East Surrey Performing Arts always get rave reviews and they are back with a run of the classic musical 9 to 5 featuring Dolly Parton’s music. There’s the chance to watch some breathtaking ballet with the Little Mermaid by Chantry Dance, and festive treat the Snow Queen from Ballet Theatre UK. All this leading up to a long-awaited dose of panto fun in December, with a magical production of Aladdin. Genie-us!

Alongside live shows, the cosy Waller Studio is showing a cracking range of films and event screenings, and there’s fresh hot and cold food and barista coffee available in the airy café. You can be confident in the continuing safety measures at the Harlequin, designed to give every customer a safe and enjoyable visit.

Cllr Kanika Sachdeva, Executive Member for Leisure and Culture, said: “There’s nothing quite like the magic of seeing a live show. It’s been heart-warming to see the theatre industry opening up again, and this coming season at the Harlequin promises not to disappoint!

“Why not come and support your local theatre with a pick of great shows, films and event screenings this autumn.”
