Reigate & Banstead Borough Council is proud to announce that the brand new Reigate & Banstead Business Awards are now open!

These awards are the first of their kind for the borough and have been created to celebrate the diverse range of successful businesses right here in Reigate & Banstead. Shortlisted businesses will be invited to a special awards evening hosted by none other than broadcaster Nicholas Owen.

Entering an Award is a very good move for any business. The Award entry provides the chance to showcase a business and its successes. Becoming a finalist and winning an award gives a great opportunity to promote a companies achievement to current and potential customers, and to truly motivate its staff.

Executive Member for Business and Economy, Councillor Eddy Humphreys said: “Our borough is home to an enormous amount of brilliant businesses of all shapes and sizes. We want to recognise all their hard work. If you own or work for a local business, we urge you to apply – it’s free, simple and a great way to gain well-deserved recognition."

There are eight categories to choose from, including Start-up of the Year, Customer Service Award and Employer of the Year, each sponsored by big-named businesses from in and around the borough. Sponsors including Gatwick Airport, Kingston Smith, East Surrey College and headline sponsors Morrisons Solicitors. Mike Jackson, Business Development Director, Morrisons Solicitors LLP said: “We’re excited and honoured to be sponsoring these awards, which will celebrate and recognise the achievements of some of the great businesses we have in our borough. We can’t wait to see the variety of nominations across all of the categories.”

The Awards Evening itself takes place at Reigate Manor on 6 June 2019 and will be attended by a wide range of the borough’s business people, giving guests the perfect opportunity to network with peers and enjoy a night out with their colleagues.
