Audiences are in for a treat at this year’s Star for a Night show as local singer Josh Bailey, who appeared on the BBC talent show ‘Let it Shine’, will be performing.

Tickets are selling fast for the young people’s variety show which is organised by Reigate & Banstead Borough Council and takes place in the Easter holidays at the Harlequin Theatre, Redhill. It features over 90 young people from across the borough and includes musical theatre numbers, rock bands, street dance, contemporary, ballet, current pop songs and drama pieces.

Councillor Ros Mill, Reigate & Banstead Borough Council’s Executive Member for Leisure and Wellbeing says: “As a council, we are keen to give young people the opportunity to be active, build their confidence and to develop their talents. Star for a Night does all of that and more while providing great entertainment along the way – and we’re delighted that Josh Bailey will be performing too.”

Cllr Mill continues: “Star for a Night is always a great night out for families and music lovers. For the first time, we’re putting on a matinee show in addition to the evening performance so if you’re looking for an afternoon’s entertainment for your children this Easter, do come along.”

There are two performances, both on Thursday 6 April: 2.30pm and 7pm. Tickets cost £10 (£8 for concessions or groups). Tickets can be purchased from the Harlequin Theatre box office either in person, on the theatre's website or by phone, 01737 276500.

The show could not go ahead without the generous financial support from local and county councillors.
