Reigate & Banstead Borough Council has commissioned Iceni Projects and Justin Gardner Consulting to prepare the Housing Needs Assessment 2024. The Assessment considers the overall need for housing in the Borough, including affordable housing as well as the needs for different types of homes; and the housing needs of older persons and those with disabilities. The Assessment also includes a Housing Market Area Technical Paper, prepared as a supporting document, in order to review and confirm the Housing Market Area within which Reigate & Banstead Borough sits.

The Assessment has been prepared to inform, alongside other evidence, the preparation of the new Local Plan 2044. The Assessment considers the future housing needs within the borough and it updates the 2019 Housing Needs Assessment report.
