Redhill Rising

Redhill Rising is an exciting youth arts project led by Franklin Music CIC in partnership with R&Be Creative and Include Choir to celebrate Redhill’s evolving identity through music, drama and community collaboration.

Throughout spring 2026, young people in Years 5 to 9 are taking part in dynamic workshops where they are learning an original song, Redhill Rising. These sessions bring together schools from across the area and will culminate in a mass community performance at The Belfry Shopping Centre, Redhill, on Thursday 16 April 2026 at 11am.

A key legacy of the project is the launch of the Franklin Music Youth Choir, a new ensemble formed from participating students, offering ongoing opportunities for young singers to develop their voices, build confidence, and perform at community events.

The celebrations continue later in the year as Redhill Rising opens the 2026 Arts Takeover with a special community performance, marking another milestone in the town’s vibrant cultural journey. The project is funded by Your Councillor Community Fund (YCCF).
