In our Open Space Survey (2024-2025), 777 residents and 13 community organisations shared their views. Key findings include:

  • a strong demand for better sports and play facilities
  • insufficient provision for children under 12 and teenagers
  • a need for improved quality of pitches and facilities for sports.

Help shape Horley's new town park

Horley's new town park at Tanyard Meadows is being designed with the community, for the community.

Feedback though our Horley open spaces survey from clubs, sporting bodies and hundreds of residents has played a role in shaping early stage design ideas, which prioritise grassroots sport, create more space for children and teenagers, improve accessibility and inclusivity, and enhance the overall quality of the open space.
