3. Refurbishing Memorial Park play area
This popular play area was installed in 2014 as part of a major upgrade of Memorial Park. It now needs updating with new equipment and landscaping which children of all ages and abilities can enjoy.
This refurbishment is being funded through the community infrastructure levy (a charge that local authorities can set on new development to help fund local facilities and services).
Share your ideas
Before we agree designs for a new play area, we’d like you to share your ideas with us before 31 May 2026. Some questions you might consider:
- What play equipment would you like to see more or less of?
- Have you seen any items of play equipment in other local play areas that you would like to see in Memorial Park?
