Financial performance of the council
Our Annual Financial Report shows the financial performance of the council in the financial year. It includes the audited Statement of Accounts prepared in accordance with the Code of Practice On Local Authority Accounting in the UK and the Best Value Accounting Code of Practice (BVACOP).

Notice of Delay to Publication of the Unaudited Draft Statement of Accounts 2022 - 2023
The Accounts and Audit (Amendment) Regulations 2022 require the Council to publish the unaudited Statement of Accounts for the financial year ending 31 March 2023 by 31 May 2023.
The Council hereby gives notice of a delay to the publication of the Unaudited Draft Statement of Accounts 2022/23. The delay has been caused by the ongoing audit of the Draft Statement of Accounts for 2020-2021.
Notice of Delay to the Publication of the Audited Statement of Accounts 2020 - 2021
The Council hereby gives notice of a delay to the publication of audited Statement of Accounts 2020 to 2021. The delay has been caused by the requirement to address areas for development that were raised during the 2019 to 2020 audit and competing demands on staff resources, due in part to the continued financial reporting requirements relating to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
