3. Paper and cardboard recycling box

We collect your paper and cardboard recycling container every week. 

Materials must be placed loose in the container, not in plastic bags.

Yes please:

  • Paper and leaflets
  • Cardboard and cardboard boxes (flattened)
  • Pizza boxes (all contents removed)
  • Magazines and telephone directories
  • Newspapers
  • Envelopes (No need to remove staples or windows)
  • Junk mail (all plastic wrapping / sleeves removed)
  • Shredded paper, but must be contained in a paper envelope or cardboard box (to help stop littering)
  • Cereal boxes (flattened)
  • Ready meal cardboard outers and sleeves (with plastic film removed)
  • Greeting cards and non-foil wrapping paper/crackers

No thanks:

  • Plastic bags (do not place paper or cardboard in plastic bags)
  • Cartons - wax or foil lined
  • Food packets and cartons
  • Waxed and grease proof paper
  • Plastic magazine wrapping / sleeves
  • Foil wrapping paper
  • Glitter covered cards or wrapping
  • Polystyrene
