Reigate Heath Steering Group minutes - 23 October 2023
- Need to compile Winter Work Program and apply to Natural England before end of October. Organise a video call between golf club, RACV and council officer.
- Need to get the management plan signed off at exec level.
- Review Reigate Heath sport pitch cutting regime and get in management plan and work program.
- Contact butterfly conservation to share their survey results. Identify third parties who are conducting surveys onsite and ask them for their results.
- Elinor to contact ask about fallen tree in wet woodland area that it over a bridleway.
- Ensure cutting back vegetation from the paths and rides are in the work program.
- Topsoil scraping to be written in a work program soon.
- Make more use of clubhouse for local communities, events and sport.
- Organise a public event in Spring- invite stakeholders to have a stand, dog MOT, stands, stalls, games etc.
- Consider installing new bins and dog bins. Consider ‘don’t let your dog run across the greens’ signs.
