A free service to improve your health and wellbeing

Wellbeing Prescription logoThe Wellbeing Prescription Service is available to residents living in the Redhill, Reigate and Horley area and provides free support and advice to help improve the health and wellbeing of residents aged 18 or over.

Across the course of up to six appointments, your Wellbeing Advisor will talk through your needs, offer advice and direct you to services to help you feel happier and healthier.

This might include services that help you with:

  • Healthy eating
  • Weight management
  • Physical activity
  • Meeting new people
  • Loneliness or social isolation
  • Carers support
  • Local community groups and activities
  • Remaining independent at home
  • Emotional wellbeing

Wellbeing Prescription is delivered in partnership with Tandridge District Council and Reigate & Banstead Borough Council, working closely with NHS East Surrey ICP and Surrey County Council Adult Social Care and Public Health.

Wellbeing Prescription is currently offered in the Tandridge and Reigate/Redhill/Horley areas.

Social Prescribing Banstead

Social Prescribing website connects resident who live in the north of the borough aged 18 years or over to non-medical community support if they meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Feeling lonely or socially isolated
  • Looking for more social contact
  • Stress or depression
  • Anxiety and lacking in confidence
  • Wanting to improve physical health
  • Living with long term health conditions
  • Needing some practical support or information to improve their situation
  • Dementia
  • Caring for someone

Your Social Prescribing Link Worker will contact you to talk about your concerns and the factors affecting your health. They will then help you to identify and organise assistance through the council or local community and voluntary organisations and support you for up to six weeks.
