R&B Junior Games

The R&B Junior Games were new for Summer 2025, and were wrapped up on Sunday 13 July in a celebrationary event held at Donyngs leisure centre in Redhill. The games replaced the Surrey Youth Games in our borough and were organised by Reigate & Banstead Borough Council in partnership with Better Leisure (who run our three leisure centres - Donyngs (Redhill), Horley and Tadworth).

The R&B Junior Games took place during the summer term and included:

• 10 weeks of free weekly coaching at a Better leisure centre in your chosen sport
• Celebration event at Donyngs Leisure Centre, Redhill, on Sunday 13 July

Sports available at all three leisure centres:

• Basketball
• Pickleball
• Swimming
• SEND multi sport

How children took part

The R&B Junior Games 2025 were open to Junior school children in years 3 to 6 (ages 7 to 11). Children had to live in or go to school in the borough of Reigate & Banstead to be eligible.

Participation was free. Children signed up using our online link on Bookwhen.
