Residents, visitors and local businesses are being encouraged to have their say on Reigate & Banstead Borough Council’s new five year plan - Reigate & Banstead 2025 – before the consultation closes.

The plan outlines the Council’s proposed priorities for the next five years. It covers not just the things it is required to provide (its statutory duties) but also the services it wants to deliver over and above those, for the benefit of the borough and residents.

The full draft plan can be viewed on the Council’s website at www.reigate-banstead.gov.uk/rbbc2025 and comments submitted via a short online survey.

Cllr Mark Brunt, Council Leader, says:

“We are nearing the end of the eight-week public consultation on our Reigate & Banstead 2025 plan.

“I would like to thank all those who have participated and given their views so far – whether via the survey, in writing or in person. We value your comments.

“I would encourage anyone who lives or works in the borough and has not yet looked at our proposals to visit our website and fill out our short survey before the consultation ends at 5pm on 16 September. Reigate & Banstead is your borough, and our final plan will be better with your input.”

Following the consultation comments made will be taken into account as the Council finalises its Reigate & Banstead 2025 plan. It is anticipated that the final plan will be adopted by the end of the year.
