1. Boundary Commission consultation

The electoral map of England is being redrawn to reflect population change and the Government's aim that all Parliamentary constituencies contain roughly the same number of electors.

A consultation is being undertaken by the Boundary Commission for England and residents are encouraged to give their views on the proposals.

Consultations on the initial proposals have now been concluded. Revised proposals for new constituency boundaries will be published on Tuesday 8 November 2022.

You can take part in the survey and view maps showing the proposed new boundaries and provide feedback before the consultation on the revised proposals closes on Monday 5 December 2022.

Take part in the survey

You can comment on anything from where the proposed new boundary lines are to the names of the constituencies.

Following the conclusion of all three consultation periods, the Commission will look at all the evidence received before forming its final recommendations.
