Mayor's Upcoming Civic and Fundraising Events:
Saturday 7 September - Heritage Open Day
Time: 10am - 1.30pm
Location: Town Hall, Castlefield Road, Reigate RH2 0SH
The Town Hall in Reigate is to open its doors to the public for pre-booked tours on Saturday 7 September for Heritage Open Day.
For one day only, come and take a free look behind the scenes at the Town Hall and discover its fascinating history as home to many of the community’s public services.
The Grade II Listed building, completed in 1901, originally housed the Town Hall, law courts, police and fire stations – the 70-foot former fire station tower still forms the principal exterior feature of the building today.
All tours will be guided. Tours are free but booking is essential. Tours last approximately 40 minutes.

Sunday 8 September - Civic Service for the Mayor of Reigate & Banstead
Time: 10.30am (guests are asked to arrive by 10.15am)
Location: Banstead Methodist Church, The Drive, Banstead, SM7 1DA
The civic service is an opportunity for the Mayor to reaffirm his commitment to serving the needs of our community. The service will take place at Banstead Methodist Church, and will be led by the Mayor’s Chaplain, Rev Gill Long.
The service will commence at 10.30am and is open to all. After the service tea and cakes will be served in the church hall.
Sunday 10 November - Remembrance Day
The Borough Remembrance Day Parade and Service will take place at Shaw's Corner, Redhill on Sunday 10 November 2024.
Friday 22 November - Charity Race Night
Time: Doors Open at 6.30pm, first race at 7.15pm
Location: Town Hall, Castlefield Road, Reigate, RH2 0SH
Fundraiser in aid of the Mayor’s Charities. Tickets are £5 per person.
