Have you heard? Redhill will be making some noise this year for Arts Takeover 2026. As Redhill’s live music scene continues to grow, so too does the musical offering for the festival.
Music in the Town this year will feature two live music stages as well as bands performing on the opening and closing Saturdays of the festival with music curated by Redstart and Canada Hill respectively. We're also excited to be working with Front Room Songs, who are presenting a programme of unique gigs and events. Katie Smith from Front Room Songs.
Redstart Music Stage, Saturday 5 September, 12 to 5pm
An afternoon of music curated by Redstart who have kickstarted the local music scene. See some of the best local bands in one afternoon for free. Potato 5 to headline at 4pm. More details coming soon.
Front Room Songs presents ......
Three intimate performances, plus delicious food, will be a musical treat for all the senses. Numbers are necessarily limited so early booking is advised.
- Sunday 6 September: ROZSA is a genre-blurring artist weaving hypnotic hip-hop, neo-soul, and jazz with a signature twist: live electric harp.
- Tuesday 8 September: Dave Rowntree, musician, composer and founding member of Blur, presents a one man show that delivers a unique insight into how one of Britain's biggest bands started out. will be talking about his recently released book, No One You Know. The show will be an intimate evening of stories, photographs and memories from the formative years of Blur - covered in his recently released book, No One You Know.
- Friday 11 September: Jazz night
Up the Junction, Saturday 12 September, 11am to 11pm
Local heroes Canada Hill curate an Indie Rock Festival – a day of music, poetry and art. Located at the Junction pub, at the crossroads of Redhill, so you can’t miss the action.
