6. Election count and declaration of results

The verification and counting of ballot papers for the East Surrey Council elections are scheduled to take place on 8 May 2026.

The declaration of the results will follow the verification and count.

The result of the East Surrey Council elections in the Reigate and Banstead area will be published the Council’s election results webpages after the results have been declared by the Returning Officer.

A full list of the results across the whole East Surrey area are expected to be available via the LGR Hub website.
