The Town Hall will be closed from Wednesday 24 December to Monday 5 January. The phone lines will be open as usual on 29, 30, 31 December and 2 January.

A duty planner is available from 10am to 11.30am, Monday to Friday on our main number 01737 276 000 - if calling to speak to them please state clearly 'duty planner'.

They are able to give general planning advice on:

  • type of application to submit
  • fees
  • guidance on how to submit an application
  • how to make amendments to an existing application
  • appeals

They are not able to provide:

  • historical documents - we hold planning history information in a variety of forms reflecting the long history of planning data.Visit our Planning History Searches webpage.
