Asset management
The council has an in-house asset management service, which is part of the Legal and Property Services department.
This service is responsible for management of land and property that is owned by the borough council, with the exception of day-to-day management of parks, countryside and other open spaces, including grounds maintenance which is dealt with by the Services to the Community Department.
Services that the asset management team provide to the council include:
- sales
- lettings
- acquisitions
- asset management
- asset valuations
- insurance valuations
- other professional property advice
