Important information
- If you are living on your own and under the age of 35 then the maximum LHA rate would be the shared accommodation rate.
- The Local Housing Allowance rate is determined by location and the number of bedrooms your household requires.
- Since 2012 the rates have been reviewed annually, although they have been frozen since 2015. From 2020 these rates are no longer frozen.
