Diwali celebration

The Asian Social Group welcomes you to celebrate Diwali on 7 November 2026.

Returning to the heart of Redhill for the fourth consecutive year, our Diwali celebration is held in collaboration with Reigate & Banstead Borough Council and The Belfry Shopping Centre.

Diwali, derived from the Sanskrit word Deepavali meaning “row of lights,” is a festival celebrated by Hindus, Jains, and Sikhs, symbolising the victory of light over darkness. It is one of the most cherished festivals in India and across the world.  (For more information: https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diwali)
