The recommendation for the north of the borough is for a single parish of Banstead and The Villages made up of nine wards (based on current electoral divisions) and covering an electorate of 40,229 people.
The proposed name of this new parish council covering most of the north of the borough is Banstead and The Villages Council.

The recommendation for this parish does not include Merstham. We received feedback that this area aligns more closely with Redhill so it is included in the recommendation for Redhill and Reigate Town Council.
