An image of the Harlequin Theatre Book now for animated adventure A Shaun The Sheep Movie: Farmageddon. With multiple daytime screenings, this film is the ideal choice for families this half term. In the evenings, come and watch Joaquin Phoenix star as Batman’s iconic arch nemesis in The Joker. Tickets go on sale nationally next Friday 20 September, so put the date in your diary now to make sure you’re viewing this highly anticipated thriller in our brand-new Waller Studio.

Plus, ALL cinema tickets booked for screenings between 26 October and 3 November (inclusive) will be £5 each – and you’ll receive a voucher for a £5 cinema ticket for your next visit, too.

Inside the cinema, you’ll find 91 brand-new luxurious seats with high backs, plush padding and individual cup holders, as well as new carpets and LED lighting. Waller Studio is proud to be accessible for all – with space for eight wheelchair users and a removable front row – and will continue its dementia-friendly and baby club screenings. The multipurpose space will also be used for comedy shows and smaller intimate gigs, as well as providing the potential for private hire.

The entrance to Waller Studio, in the upstairs foyer of The Harlequin Theatre, has also been completely transformed. There’s now a black-and-copper colour scheme, wood panelling and a red carpet. A new till point has been added to offer greater convenience for cinema patrons, while the downstairs box office will remain open for theatre and event guests. For the first time ever, pick ‘n’ mix will be available to purchase in a brand-new kiosk, alongside a wide range of confectionery and freshly popped popcorn – all the ingredients for that essential cinema experience.

Cllr Alex Horwood, Executive Member for Wellbeing and Intervention, said: “Our main aim with refurbishing the cinema to create the new-look, multipurpose Waller Studio was to improve the overall customer experience. We wanted to enhance our offering to include new releases, better snacks and a grand entrance.

“The Harlequin has a loyal following here in Redhill and the surrounding areas, and we hope that our new cinema shows our commitment to providing a high-quality entertainment service for our community.”

Waller Studio is based in The Harlequin Theatre, Warwick Rd, Redhill RH1 1NN.
