We want to know which open spaces, sports and recreation facilities you like to use and what you think about them. In return for your views you could win a three month leisure centre pass.

Planning for the future

Cllr Tony Schofield, Executive Member for Planning Policy and Finance, explains “Reigate & Banstead Borough Council is in the process of updating its Local Plan. As part of this work we are carrying out a review of open space, leisure and recreation provision.

The survey does not just relate to council-owned or run facilities but all open spaces and recreation facilities across the borough, from village halls to churchyards. As a thank you for your time, you can enter our prize draw for the chance to win a three month pass to one of our three leisure centres, courtesy our leisure partners GLL.”

The Council’s Open Space, Sport and Recreation Assessment, which was last updated in 2011, will form part of the evidence base for the next stage of our Local Plan, the draft Development Management Plan.

The deadline for comments is Sunday 30 April.
