The Borough of Reigate and Banstead Off-Street Parking Places Order 2017

Following a public consultation which ran from 12 January 2017 to 10 February 2017, the Council made a new off street parking order on 16 February 2017 known as the Borough of Reigate and Banstead (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 2017. The Order will come into force on 27 February 20-17 and revokes the Borough of Reigate and Banstead (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 2016.

The changes are set out in the Notice of Making dated 23 February 2017 and detailed in the Statement of Reasons.

Members of the public may attend the Council Offices between 9am and 4.30pm to view the documents.

Validity:

If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with, that person may apply to the High Court within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
