Garden waste service update 29/06/2026: There have been some missed garden waste collections in the Horley area today due to staff shortages. Please leave your bins out and our crews will return as soon as possible.We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
Recycling and rubbish collections
Your bin must be placed on the boundary of your property by 6am on your scheduled collection day.
You can't report a missed bin if:
- it is before 3pm (the crew may come back)
- a whole road has been missed (we will be back to collect the next working day)
- it has been after two working days (you will need to wait for your next collection)
- the recycling is contaminated (check the What goes in each bin page for more info)
