Sunday 27 March 2011 was Census day.
This page is about the 2011 Census and what you have to do to with the questionnaire you were sent.

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) carries out a census to find out more about the people who live in England and Wales and about the make-up of local neighbourhoods.
Online completion
Questionnaires have now been sent out which you can complete online or send back by post, but you must do it.
You will need to answer a few questions about yourself and the people who were sharing your household with you on Sunday 27 March 2011.
This is to take a snapshot of the population as it stands on one day. However, you can complete your questionnaire after this date.
Everything you tell the census will be in the strictest confidence and will only be used to produce statistics. ONS will not share your personal information with any other government department or organisation.
April 6
If you have not returned your questionnaire by 6 April 2011, a census collector will call after that date to offer any help you need.
The census needs everyone to take part in helping tomorrow take shape and this will be your chance to make a difference.
