Housing Allocations Lettings Plan 2024
Reigate and Banstead Borough Council operates a Lettings Plan. This Plan forms part of the Council’s Housing Register and Allocations Policy. The Plan sets targets for the number of lettings made available to the different priority bands and types of applicant (Waiting List or Transfer). The Lettings Plan will be reviewed every six months.
The purpose of the Lettings Plan is to:
- make the best use of housing stock in the Borough
- ensure that the Council’s obligations towards statutory homeless households can be met with minimal use of bed and breakfast accommodation
- ensure priority is given to those with the greatest need for housing
