Statement of Community Involvement (SCI)

National planning legislation requires the Council to publish a Statement of Community Involvement (SCI).

The SCI sets out how and when we will engage with the community and other stakeholders in regard to planning matters. It covers the requirements for the preparation of planning policy documents and the consideration of planning applications.

Please note hard copies of adopted Local Plan documents, SPDs and other documents such as the Local Development Scheme and the Statement of Community Involvement can currently be viewed at the Council's main offices between 9am and 10am daily during the working week, by prior appointment by calling 01737 276 000. Copies are also available at the local libraries. Visit Surrey County Council website for opening times and addresses.
