Register of Electors

There are two versions of the Register:

Full Register of Electors

The full register lists everyone who is entitled to and has registered to vote. Only certain people and organisations can have copies of the full register and they can only use it for specified purposes. The main use for the full register is for elections and referendums, but it can also be used for the prevention and detection of crime. Credit reference agencies use it for checking your identity when you have applied for credit.

The full register of electors is available to view by appointment only and under supervision at the Town Hall, Castlefield Road, Reigate, Surrey, RH2 0SH. No copying of this register is allowed and the information it contains cannot be used for marketing purposes. If you would like to check your entry in the register, please contact the Electoral Registration Officer at the Town Hall on 01737 276 028 or email elreg@reigate-banstead.gov.uk to arrange an appointment.

Edited Register of Electors

Under legislation we are required to make this version of the register available for sale to anyone who requests a copy and it can be used for any purpose.

However, you can ask that your name does not appear on the Edited Register by ticking the appropriate box on the annual registration form, voter registration form or by contacting the Council.

If you would like to request that your details are not included on a permanent basis, please complete and return the Application to Amend Opt-Out Form . (PDF document [97.6Kb])
