Around one in three people infected with Covid-19 have no symptoms but can still pass it on. Symptom-free tests are a good way to identify positive cases so people don't spread the virus unknowingly.

You can take a twice weekly symptom-free test in the following ways:

On-site community testing

On-site testing using lateral flow devices (LFD) is available at participating community pharmacies, to anyone aged over 16 who lives, works or studies in Surrey.

Children and young people will continue to be tested via their school or college testing scheme. School and college staff can access home testing kits via their workplace.

About the tests

Rapid symptom-free tests use lateral flow devices (LFDs) that usually provide results within one hour.

Please note that you do not need to isolate while waiting for the results of a symptom free test. You will only need to isolate if you develop symptoms or are notified that you have tested positive.
