Key performance indicators
The council has identified a number of key indicators that are important in identifying performance against key corporate objectives and priorities.
These are known as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). They are scrutinised by senior management, the Executive and the Overview and Scrutiny Committee on a quarterly basis.
The Status measure compares actual performance against the target for the quarter. Performance is depicted by the following ratings:
|Green = on or above target|
|Red = below target|
|Amber = within agreed tolerance|
Against each indicator is a management action/comment, which explains the status reported.
