3. Emerging SPDs and SPGs
The Council is developing a new Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) which aims to enhance the environment and character of the area through high quality design of the street, public spaces and new development along the A23 between Redhill and Horley.
The consultation for the A23 Great Street Design Code Supplementary Planning Document closed on 18 January 2024, 5pm. Your comments are being considered to help inform a revised final version of the SPD. This will go to our elected members to review the SPD and consultation statement for adoption. Once adopted the SPD will become material consideration when assessing any future planning applications that come forward in the study area.
