Business Plan

We do not require a specific format for your Business Plan and it can be a short document, but it will need to cover the following points as a minimum:

  • Summary of your business objectives
  • Your skills and experience
  • Your target customers
  • Your market and competition
  • Your sales and marketing plan

You can find numerous templates online to help.  Choose one that best suits you and your business. If you require more guidance on writing a Business Plan, then please click here.

If you are not sure what to include in your Financial Forecast, we have provided a template you may wish to use. The template also gives you an idea of the detail we require if you are supplying your own.

Businesses who are successful in their Business Support Grant applications will also get one year's free membership to Enterprise Nation.

A second grant can be awarded. To qualify you must be able to demonstrate  growth since being awarded the initial grant and have strong and concrete growth plans which the grant will help you achieve.  For example, a second grant would be considered for recruitment costs to take on additional staff or an apprentice. We would not consider second applications for replacement equipment.
