4. Consultation event and responses

Thank you to everyone who attended the online consultation event on Thursday 29 October 2020 and submitted questions and comments.

Below are the presentation made by the design team and answers to questions submitted before and during the event. As many of the questions were on similar themes and there were a number of repeat questions, these have been collated into common questions and topics.

Given the large number of attendees, the consultation was run as a closed presentation to allow the design team to explain the scheme and ensure the event was manageable to answer questions submitted. We received over 70 questions by email during the presentation and we were able to answer around half at the event. The ones we were unable to answer due to time constraints are included in the Q&A below.

Questions submitted after the event and by the close of the consultation on 8 November have also now been collated and the answers added to the questions and answers document below (16.11.2020).

The plans have been updated following the consultation and a planning application has been submitted.

You can see updated information about the proposals on these pages, including questions and answers on key topics and images

You can see full details of the planning application via the planning application search – application reference number 21/00192/F

There will be a further opportunity to comment as part of the planning application process.
